How much does a professional organizer cost?
Pricing varies depending on the size and scope of your project with sessions starting at $500. During your consultation, we'll talk through your space and goals and give you a clear, written scope and price so you know exactly what a project will cost before any work begins. No surprises, no hourly clock-watching.
How long does a typical organizing session take?
Most sessions run 3 to 5 hours. A single small closet or pantry is usually one session; a full kitchen or primary bedroom often takes one to two. Whole-home projects are broken into a series of sessions that may be scheduled in consecutive days or across a few weeks so nothing feels rushed.
Do I need to buy storage bins and containers before you arrive?
No. Please don't buy anything ahead of time. We assess what you already own first, then recommend specific bins, labels, drawer organizers, or shelving that will actually fit your space. We can shop for supplies on your behalf when a project calls for it.
Do I have to be present during the organizing session?
For the sorting portion — yes, at least briefly. You're the only one who can decide what stays and what goes. Once decisions are made and you let us know your preference, we can absolutely do the organizing and setup work while you're at work or out of the house.
What happens to the things I don't keep?
We handle it. We take items you're donating to local donation centers (with a receipt for you if applicable), items for consignment are staged for pickup, and trash and recycling are hauled out. You don't need to make a second trip anywhere.
Do you help with packing and unpacking for a move?
Yes! Moving and unpacking is one of our most-requested services. We handle move-out packing, move-in unpacking, room-by-room setup, and box breakdown. Most clients are fully unpacked and living in their new home within a few days rather than weeks.
Can you help my elderly parent downsize?
Yes, and this is one of the services we take the most care with. We move at the family's pace, take extra time with sentimental items, and coordinate donations, consignment, and estate-sale contacts. We also help plan the new, smaller space so belongings actually fit.
Do you work with real estate agents preparing a home to sell?
Yes. We partner with agents on pre-listing decluttering, depersonalizing, and staging-ready organizing that helps homes photograph better and sell faster. We work with agents and their buyers (especially out-of-state) to unpack and setup the new home they've purchased. We also offer a referral partnership for agents who want to include organizing as part of their listing service.
Is there a minimum project size?
Our minimum engagement is one session. That's enough to fully reset most single spaces like a pantry, small closet, or home office corner.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Volusia County, FL and serve Deland, DeBary, Deltona, Orange City, Lake Mary, Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, and the surrounding Central Florida communities in Seminole, Lake, Orange, Flagler, and North Brevard counties. If you're nearby but not sure whether we cover your area, just ask.
